Beginnings:

JT Close began in 1893 as a smithy, meeting the needs of a newly established community. He invented the ‘one way disc’ he was constantly designing, modifying and improving implements used in farming.
JT’s motto was ‘QUALITY’
JT & EN Close, five generations later is still working closely with the rural community; manufacturing, repairing and meeting the needs of local farmers, tradesmen and community.
